Arianne Piper

Founder and Director

Arianne has over 20 years of industry experience in Modern and Contemporary Art across both primary and secondary markets. Before founding APAA in 2006, Arianne held positions at Sotheby’s, UBS Wealth Management, the Dresden State Art Collections and with Lord Rothschild. Arianne received a BA in History from the University of Bristol where she specialised in Renaissance and 20th Century Art. She went on to receive an MA with Distinction in Post War and Contemporary Art from The Courtauld Institute of Art.

APAA is a member of the Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD).

Angelica Vergano

Associate Director

Angelica joined APAA in 2016 and has since been working alongside Arianne to deliver a high-level advisory service. Prior to joining APAA, Angelica held positions at White Cube gallery and Phillips auction house. Angelica received a BA from Bocconi University and an MA from IESA and the University of Warwick.

Chiara Zandonà

Logistics & Operations Manager

At APAA, Chiara heads operations and provides exceptional logistical services. Chiara joined APAA from LUMAS gallery where she worked as a senior art consultant. Chiara holds both a BA and an MA in Photography from NABA in collaboration with Spazio Forma and LABA Academy of Fine Art as well as an MA in Research and Creative Practice from Westminster University.

Anastasia Bykova

Special Projects, Research & Marketing Manager

Anastasia is head of research, communications and marketing at APAA and is responsible for delivering market research of the highest standard. Prior to joining APAA in 2020, Anastasia interned at Phillips auction house. Anastasia has extensive art historical knowledge and holds a BA in Art History from UCL as well as an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art, with a focus on the position of women artists in the contemporary art market.
